Hey,

so I applied for AP at the same time I sent off the AOS and EAD package. I was just checking the status today and saw today that the AOS and EA are still at decision stage, but the AP has been approved and should be with me in the next 2 weeks. Is it normal for this to be done way before the EAD at least? I applied for it for December (just in case the whole thing took forever!) I'm not complaining, just wondering if it's the usual thing!

Thanks

Are you sure you didn't mess up the numbers? My wife's AP never showed approved on the USCIS web site, only the EAD and Green did. From what I recall, this was the norm before. EAD and AP come on the same combo card today.

Hi,

No it's definitely is the the AP - it says it in the description too. I would love if the EAD comes too, but that still says decision. I guess I'll wait and see when it gets here.

Thanks

That is strange, in the past the two were tied together, EAD and AP, with only the EAD ever showing it went to card production, but the AP came with the EAD on a combo card. Its almost as if your EAD has been ignored??? I guess in a few days when the card shows up, you'll know. It will either be the combo card covering both or the AP alone.

Oh man, I hope it hasn't been ignored! I want the EAD way more than the AP right now!!!! I guess I'll just wait and hope that it is the combo card, and if it isn't I'll call them up and hope I can get some answers.

Thanks for responding :)

So I guess USCIS made a mistake by updating the AP status to "produced", as I called them today to figure out if there is a tracking number and they said that no card has been issued and that it was referring to the receipt notice being sent...! Not happy about that at all :( Oh well, back to waiting
