I am very confused about this process.

I am a citizen (through marriage) and I am applying for my mother to get her greencard. I completed the I-864Z twice and both times it was returned for incomplete information.

So I have a couple of questions:

1) The transcripts I sent with tax information in the last 3 years are transcripts with income for both my husband and I. Does this mean I should complete the I-864 and not the I-864EZ. All our incomes are from W2s. They didnt say that the I-864Z is the wrong form but you never know.

2) I did not indicate on the I-130 that my husband was co-sponsoring (not that he is against it - he is happy to fill out whatever crazy form is necessary for my mother to get there). If I use the I-864 should I use him as a co-sponsor. Again the transcripts shows both our income but I can qualify on just my income if necessary. Essentially what I am asking is - if the transcripts have 2 incomes should i also have my husband complete a form?

I was using the wrong form. So I ended up doing the I-876 instead of the I-876Z because the tax information was for both hubby and I.

If my salary was not enough to be 125% above poverty level my husband would need to complete the I-876A. Although my salary is enough to qualify but he did it anyway.
