I really need to know what will happen next? I had an interview on May 6 2014 and it went well except I didn't have original intent to marry document from my fiancé who is in chicago. The officer told me to mail it to them through courier. They kept my passport and said visa will be issued after they receive the document. Officer said it is a small detail and I have all the other paperwork so it is ok, nothing to worry about. He said it will take 4 weeks to get back to me after they receive the missing document.

I want to know if it will take 4 weeks or more? I am from Canada and consulate is in Montreal. My fiancé is from chicago.

Any feedback is important!!!

Not quite the same, but for me I had to wait for the medical results to be sent to the consulate since it was done the day before the interview, and about 3 business days after the medical results were received by them via courier, I got the final approval(email that stated the visa had been issued and being mailed). Similar to you on interview day, they had said all was fine pending them receiving that.
