...And for whatever reason, not even my EAD/ AP have been approved, not to say AoS. Last service request still says case delayed due to "workload issues unrelated to your case". Should I elevate the issue to Tier 2 at next Service Request (which would be in the next few days)?

Don't mess around with tier 2. The way an IO in my local field office described it is that IOs get different training depending I the jobs they do. So, just make an Infopass and go in and talk to someone. The folks on the phone don't know as much as the IOs on the phone, so don't even bother at this stage.

Weird. I thought I replied. I scheduled ahead. Look online from home and pick the next free date. If you have an interview scheduled before that date, then cancel. If not you have an appointment to help you out.

The issue is my field office is one of Los Angeles' sub-offices, which means every time I checked online, there wasn't a free date.

My kids here in USA with tourist visa but they now out of stay

My usc wife filed for my 3 kids in May 16 (since 7 months) I485 &i130

We make the biometrics in June

They ask for RFE In July

And they transfer the case to Nebraska center

And in august i received by only mail (with no update on website) other request for evidence (they ask about medical form i693)

In august 22 They update the website They said " On August 22, 2014, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC********. Our Nebraska Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by October 21, 2014, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed."

If I was you, I'd call them since they said you should have an update by October, which passed with no updates on your case. Good luck!

Well it does say "unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed" - you could be waiting a while. Look up your local field offices processing dates and remember that the RFE delays things.

They came on a tourist visa which always needs an interview.
