Don't give up hope! I think things will start moving now that summer is winding down. Congrats to everyone on their GCs, EADs and interviews!

More good news! the ones I've been waiting for!! today I got the following in order:

1-email/txt GC had been mailed.

2-NOA2 and welcome to USA letters in the mail

3-email/txt my GC has been picked up by USPS with tracking # scheduled to arrive in 2 more days. Same as with my EAD and it came the very next day! I would not be surprised if I find my GC in the mailbox tomorrow when I come from school! then it is time to celebrate for real!!! :dance::P:dancing::luv::D

Green Card in hand! :dancing::dance::yes::lol::D it arrived today earlier than usual mail delivery. We have been so blessed during the whole preparation and process of applying and waiting. I am so grateful with God with all my heart for all answered prayers my family, my friends and I sent day by day. Funny thing is, August 20th, 2005 is when I landed here, not knowing at the time that I'd end up staying. But it's become a bit of a special date for me... the day I left home to... move to another continent. Go, me! LOL (I still miss Europe)

Congrats, wavj, I'm sure it's a nice feeling! I'm looking forward to that piece of mail myself. Mostly because... it is SHINY! Like, it has that shiny hologram thingy and the sparkly thing in the top corner and... it's just so pretty! Yes, I am a silly creature. I was soooo excited about my EAD, it has the hologram too. I was shifting it every which way in the light and marveling at its rainbow shininess. Husband was amused.

Funny thing is, August 20th, 2005 is when I landed here, not knowing at the time that I'd end up staying. But it's become a bit of a special date for me... the day I left home to... move to another continent. Go, me! LOL (I still miss Europe)

Congrats, wavj, I'm sure it's a nice feeling! I'm looking forward to that piece of mail myself. Mostly because... it is SHINY! Thank you Gurken, I think yesterday I received the last USCIS notification via txt/email (card being delivered) for a while until the ROC process begins in May of 2016. I have to carry the GC with me all the time as instructed,I check it every time I leave the house to make sure is true I have one!!! yes it sure is shinny and it is priceless. At times I stop and think about this journey and I can't believe I have it in my hands already. I feel so fortunate and grateful. I super enthusiastic about school and work, I feel like I have a brand new real established life now, I feeling I didn't have before due the uncertainty. I wish for everyone in this group to soon experience this feeling as well.

08/28/14 (day 97) NOA2/Welcome to USA notice arrived in the mail

08/28/14 (day 97) email/txt notification Green Card has been mailed with tracking # -sent priority mail 2-Day

09/20/16 (Day 50) 45 days after receiving NOA -1yr permit extension- I filed service request to inquire about Biometrics appointment letter

09/29/16 (Day 59) Biometrics appointment letter received dated 9/24/16

10/11/16 (Day 71) Biometrics completed. *Also, received on the mail response letter from previous service request filed with copy of Biometrics appointment letter.

11/11/17 (Day 466) Case Status changed to New Card Production

11/16/17 (Day 471) Case Status indicate  New Card being sent on the mail .:dance::dance::D:dance::dance::dance:

11/17/17 (Day 472) I-797  Notice of Removal of Condition being approved received in the mail.

11/20/17 (Day 475/15 months 18 days) New Lawful Permanent Resident arrived in the mail; card in hand at last! :dancing:
