I'm already on Day 99 and no news on my EAD, and the person in NCSC said I can't make further requests since I already made one on Day 76... So what can I do? It's difficult to get an InfoPass in LA...

"Approaching Regulatory Timeframe"... See my sig. This is routinely used, and recommended by USCIS, for I-765 pending for more than 75 days.

And when you call they say you can't make another request? Even a request to expedite your ead which I believe is different than a regular service request?

we received i-485 AOS interview date - Sep 18th . yay! not bad - this is San Jose, CA

however still worried about my i-130... i mean it's still not in the USCIS system. the receipt number says ("not found") when i try track it online.

@cdcrn I spoke to a level 2 person, and they said I just need to wait. it's been 2.5 months though since the 4 NOA1 came in the mail.

what do other people's i-130 online statuses report?

Our I-130 has been in Initial Review since day one.

to the others that have GC's did the i-130 ever change status? or is it something that just gets approved together with the interview?

cool. its good to know then. i wonder if i-130's status ever changes? or if it goes straight from "initial review" to being processed with the greencard approval/interview.

I need to renew mine before October but it takes 20 business days plus mailing time to do it by mail and now that summer is over I won't be able to go back to Canada on week days, so walk in isn't an option. Or what happens if my passport is off being renewed?

I am bringing my expired passport to the interview. It's been expired for years. The only thing it will happen is that it cannot be used to receive stamp on it after approval ( crossing fingers for that outcome) which is instant proof of status granted until GC arrives in the mail. What matters is to provide a valid ID that is not expired.

Please keep us in your thoughts, in few more mins we are leaving to have our interview. It is about 45 min drive but we are leaving 1.30 hr earlier. I will update later once we come back home.
