This is definitely confusing because all I received was the email notification and never a letter in the mail about it. 22 days later I receive another email/txt notification about interview date. The hard copy for interview came 3 days after that last email.

Thank you, soon you will have your interview notice too. I was expecting this process to take 5-6 months, so as long as it does not exceed that time frame you can consider it is going along normal. I am just super happy and thrilled it is taking less time for my process. My husband is going to take the day off from work so we can focus 100% in such an important day

I've seen people with normal cases that waited up to 2 month on testing and interview before the actual interview was scheduled... so I think it is just us, we have to be patient lol

I think it's 30 days from when it went to Testing&Interview. I never received a notice in the mail either, not sure if it got lost (the fear!), or if they just never send one.

Calling them at 30 probably gets them to tell you to wait another 30 days :P

And still no EAD... I'm really hoping to land a job soon, and answering the "are you allowed to work" question is really painful. Recruiters aren't really aware of USCIS. In the best case, I will just bug USCIS to expedite my EAD using the hypothetical job offer that I hope to have soon. Off-topic, but job hunting is soul-crushing!

Yup you are correct - I think they probably would say to wait, but what if they had sent a notice and their online system didn't update?

We'd never know without contacting USCIS. So I plan to explain what the most recent update notice said and that it has been 30 days with no update.

Sometimes it would be nice if their system could be clearer (Oy, I wonder how confusing others find it who don't speak English as their first language if I find it confusing and English is my first language?? Of course I don't speak government-ese!).

I hope everyone's EAD comes soon!
