I think the "initial review" stage is pretty meaningless. It seems like the website hardly ever updates. I've finally stopped logging in every day. :)

I've read about folks getting their EAD expedited due to a job offer. You may want to give that a try if you're at risk of losing the offer:

please check this link for expedite EAD it helped me a lot :) it does not hurt to ask for it, just give it a try, explain exactly what you wrote here, remember you are going to need a letter from your employer as the evidence, if you dont have one it might be difficult to get approved (that's what I read on a lot of threads in VJ)

How is everyone doing? what do you do to not go crazy while you wait more updates on your case? :girlwerewolf2xn:

I am back in training season and so far I have 3 races in my calendar: half marathon Nov 22, Marathon Jan1st and another Marathon on Jan18. I might run a few 5K's and 10K's along the way. This will be my 8th half marathon and 6th full marathon. I run 4 days a week and cross train in between but some days I do double workouts, that is I do resistance workout before my run. I also incorporate swimming which helps with recovery as a non impact workout. After our vacation when we ate all over the place, I am back to my Paleo lifestyle which goes perfectly well with my very active days of training. Sweating my butt off definitely keeps my mind busy from obsessing about USCIS updates. I do still check the website every morning while I have my coffee and open the mailbox with a bit of excitement.

On Tuesday 7-14 I received an email from USCIS, I shortened it to include only the relevant info....

I faxed the info from my job to them yesterday.

I wonder how long the average is before we all get our interview dates? I hit testing and interview on June 26th. I'm hoping I get interviewed in August. My husband is a teacher and it would be nice to avoid him having to take a personal day the first week of September... But as they say "Murphy's law"... :P
