I too woke up to a text/email stating my I-485 has moved to testing and interview. :) No change with any other document yet, though.

this is awesome! congrats!!! :) So I guess the interview is going to be around end of june, beggining of august? :dancing: hopefully

Hey, me three! I got my testing and interview email as well. USCIS must be on a roll.

I think the amount of time till interview depends on your local office. I checked a few other timelines and it seems to range a bit from 5-8 weeks between notification and the actual interview. It's exciting, though!

Basically by the end of summer we should have a decision. I hope. That will be nice. Sadly my baby's nexus pass interview isn't until December so travel back to Canada will be very slow if we go before then. Interviewing a baby boggles my mind...

Guys l received an email notification this morning exactly a week after l had my biometrics done, l am beyond disbelief! How can this happen so fast even before EAD?

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. OMG me too! My email came at 7:01am and l had just checked case status around 5:40 ish and went back to sleep. We are on vacation trip til Friday and l check case status every morning before we go out for the day. I am so happy l can't believe process is moving so fast!

That is silly. Are they going to fingerprint him, too? I don't imagine the prints will match up in a few months. :\

Btw, do you know if you keep checking the interview website, appointments often open up last minute. I remember last year they would always suddenly have openings on a Friday, at least in Montreal.

My good news, if we can call it that, is that I just got an email saying my I-485 is now in Request for Evidence Response Review. This is good because it means we didn't mess up the package, so they were able to figure it out and file it correctly :lol:

But it's only been a week since biometrics, so I guess I'll be getting other updates in a little while too :D I'm happy for all of you, it seems USCIS is moving pretty fast these days.

I'll have to keep checking the interview schedule - my renewal interview isn't until December also. Not the same date of course. I'll have my baby at my interview, in my dreams they'd just do his too then. I expect they will finger print him. Seems silly, just like the height/weight and hair/eye colour was for his passport. It likely won't stay the same...

Wait, did I read that right? They want to interview a BABY?! How old is he/will he be? I thought there was a minimum and maximum age for biometrics to be required... and the baby should have his status adjusted through you and that's that! Weird!

Sorry GurkenSalat, we're not talking about fingerprints for the immigration process. We're talking about a special permit to pass between US and Canada (NEXUS). I hope USCIS doesn't interview babies...

Sorry GurkenSalat, we're not talking about fingerprints for the immigration process. We're talking about a special permit to pass between US and Canada (NEXUS). I hope USCIS doesn't interview babies...

Oh I misunderstood. Thank you for clarifying! I don't know anything about NEXUS ^^
