They usually don't look at your 485 until biometrics and background check is done that's the first step

That makes sense, thanks. Crossing fingers for no RFE ;)

What visa are you adjusting from? and looks like you have not gotten your EDA in production yet, I wonder if that will happen before your interview date.

Congratulations! keep us updated

I'm adjusting from an E visa.

I thought my EAD will be the first notice of action I'd get after biometrics, but I checked the timelines for NBC and it says that EAD is taking 3 months, but adjustment of status 2.5 months, so it made sense.

I don't know if I will get my EAD before my interview... I wish (and also my advance parole, so I can travel abroad)! but I have my interview date now, so I'm super relieved.

Tried to signup for case updates on USCIS.com. but.... the system gave me an error and said my receipt number (MSCxxxxxxxxxxxx) was not found.

I called the USCIS office and they told me it takes about 30-45 days for it to be entered into the system. soo looks like I'll be waiting a while longer.

Good news!

Yesterday I came home to no news and no mail and again, told myself, next week will be the week.

This morning I woke up to a text message and email saying that my case was moved to Testing/ Interview and my scheduled appointment is July 28th! I have to wait now to receive the hard copy with all the details...

Time to prepare all the interview materials now!

Good luck to all of you and be patient, seems this month and the beginning of July will be our time to have news!

Good luck! So happy for you!!!

I believe I've read cases on here where people have gotten RFEs in the interview too. I plan to bring absolutely everything they list to avoid that. Hopefully...
