Well to be honest, I don't see why you are upset at Mari. She was trying to be reassuring and helpful. We all have situations that make this AOS very important. Plus, there is no way to speed up the process so you may say that you can't wait, but honestly??? You have too. There is nothing you can do that will make this go any faster, and worrying will just give you an ulcer.

I spoke with an immigration lawyer when I first got married and he advised I assume I'm not leaving the US for 6 months until it is all done.

This is very much an intense process but why worry until there is a reason to?? You haven't had your application denied and sent back, no RFEs you know it was received - your doing well and at the stage you should be at. If you were beyond 30 days from when they received your application, I'd worry. Until then, it is within their standard processing times.

If you are really desperate to make sure there are no delays, I'd recommend hiring an immigration lawyer to complete the paperwork for you (Or to help with any further information) and attend the interview with you. They should be able to be 100% confident it is done correctly. Also, since you are so worried, why not have the petitioner call and talk to the tier 2 people and find out what is up?? Then you will know what is going on rather than worry. You might also be able to make an info pass appointment, but I don't know enough about it to know it it applies here.

This is direct but, honestly, it is meant to be helpful and to give you some options.

Perhaps, if you feel I or others aren't understanding your situation maybe put in more detail? AOS from what? Overstay for how long? When did you get married? Dates, which forms you have filled out etc...

Bc i thought its gonna be a pain in ###.First of all u get EAD a month before GN and there is no guarantee that application gonna be approved...
