Hi,

Plz help me, My father in law is joint sponsor with my wife. My wife was student before coming to Pakistan and never work in last 5 years (almost 20 months in PAK). So my father in law income will be sponsoring us. He has a pay of 40k per annum. His family include my mother in law and my wife brother who is studying in university on scholarship. My question is his income enough for affidavit of support, As we all depend on him, incuding our son of 6 months. Plz help me as I cant figure it out. Thanks

Yahya,

His Income exceeds what is required to provide sponsorship for you and our wife. According to USCIS, the sponsor must be earning at least 125% of the poverty guideline. So you're good and don't have to worry.
