Received This email from USCIS Is it a bad sign?

On January 11, 2007, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence and/or information in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence and/or information requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the information and/or evidence requested, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something further from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service.

Should I be troubled by this or it is standard procedure. To my Knowledge I sent them all that they requested. What could they be seeking? My mind is working overtime. To those who have received such emails before how long til i get this in the mail? Thanks all.

I haven't received one. Could be anything they are asking for. You'll just need to wait for the paper copy to see what else they need (could be an original of one of the copies you submitted).

I-130 was what i submmited along with marriage certificate, birth cert, Citizenship,G-325A for me & another for husband. They cashed the check a long time ago

Yes I did submit the Photos as well.

Have you or your husband been previously married? If so, you would have to provide proof the marriage is terminated (divorce decree). If not, maybe there was an error on one of the documents? If you made copies of everything you sent (hopefully you did!) have another look at the documents and see if there's something wrong.

Sometimes they, for whatever reason, ask for originals or certified copies of photocopies submitted as well. Or maybe you missed a question on the form.

Hopefully you will get your paper copy soon so you know what they need.

I received an almost similar letter for my wife's change of status petition after the initial submission. They wanted proof that my business was still operational and current, since i am self employed, and they also needed a translation of my wife's birth certificate. We had already sent them this translation but i guess they didn't accept it because it was done in a foreign country.

I sent them all these approximately 3 months ago. Our interview was last week and my wife's greencard is on the way.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if i were you.
