So, there are only a few "similar" timelines of people that have filed I-130s, immigrating from the UK at the TSC. Most of those have timelines that say they received their NOA2 within just a few weeks. Is this realistic? Would the process be quicker of it was for a relative that isn't a spouse??

I am the USC Petitioner. My wonderful wife Laura is from Scotland.

Where you are coming from has no influence on the I-130 petition part of the process. I would just check general timeline at TSC.

It is possible for a few to go fast, they were expedited for some reason.

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Except that VJ must use the country data to determine their estimated dates since they estimate my approval date to be sometime in March!! Not that I took that seriously since I didn't even find this website until a few weeks ago. I still wish there were more timelines that actually seemed similar. *sigh*

I suggest you find the January 2014 I-130 thread. In there you will see everyone that filed in January and identify those few folks that are also at the TSC. Perhaps your January group has a spreadsheet going that tracks service centers and dates like many of the other months have.

The country of the beneficiary is not used at all in predicting your adjudication date. The dates here on VJ are goofy because of the crazy start stop tempo the USCIS has been experiencing the last many months. It's better to find your January group and other folks at the TSC to get a feel for when things might occur. But keep in mind often times the USCIS does crazy stuff without rhyme or reason and folks get picked to be processed quicker. It could be training or it could be a conscious effort to lower the USCIS average processing times...it's hard to say.

Yeah join the January filers thread and make contact with the other TSC filers in there. Also have a look at the previous few months threads for people who filed in the months before you. Then you can get a good idea where TSC is at with it's processing. There are member created spreadsheets which can prove useful. Your country of origin doesn't matter in the initial phase unless there is a natural disaster like the Philippines, Haiti etc and they start expediting everyone from that country.
