Hello all. Has anyone from Nicaragua had any luck obtaining a J1 visa waiver on account of No Objection Statement? Did you use the consulate in DC or a ministry here? Every time we call the consulate they never seem to know anything about it. Thank you in advance

Buenas, hay alguien que ha tenido exito con un waiver de No Objection Statement para la J1? Como lo obtuvistes? A quien le llamastes, el consulado de DC o un ministerio aqui en Managua? Cada vez que intentamos llamar al consulado nos dicen ala verga y que no entienden. Si alguien ha tenido exito, ayudenos porfa.

Can you apply for the waiver by other means?

Who did you speak with at the consulate? Maybe you can request to speak to a different department?
