Divorce papers at interview

Her interview is next week in Managua, we are not sure if they require divorce papers at the interview. I sent them into USCIS to be approved...certified copies, now I wonder if I have to get another set of certified copies. Anyone have any experiences from other interviews?

Managua should have provided exactly what they wanted to see in the instruction packet for you to have at the intrview. Typically the divorce papers are not required because you submitted them with the original petition, which they will have.

If you sent the original certified divorce order with the I-129f application, then the Embassy should have it at the time of interview. I sent a "copy" of the certificed divorce order with the I-129f, and sent my fiancee the original for her interview. According to my now wife, they didn't ask her anything about it and gave the original back to her.

I would assume with her interview next week, you don't have time to get another certified original and send it to your fiancee, so there's really not much you can do at this point. If you have the time, then get it done.
