I am no expert but it's my understanding that with marriage visas once you are married unless you can prove that there was clearly (evidence needed) marriage fraud, the petitioned spouse could stay and adjust status/ remove conditions on their own. In your case I don't see a prob. But I'd collect any verifiable proof you may have of his lack of commitment to the marriage just in case he decides to get nasty and cause you grief later. He may not of course but people get funny sometimes during divorce/break ups. I mean what if he becomes jealous and just wants to hurt you?

He might not be that type I'm just sayin jik

Can someone with substantial knowledge answer this for me?

Can i leave my husband after only been married for one year, and having had a green card for 2 months?

Things at home are unbearable, I am seeking help from therapists. I have strong reasons to believe my husband is a sex addict.

Everybody I know is telling me to just leave. But i am terrified I will lose the chance to get a permanent green card.

HELP
