Yippee!! My favorite show is back on Sunday. I don't watch a whole lot of TV but this is a must watch for me. Any other die hard fans of 24 here?

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Used to love to watch it. Havnt kept up with it though.

Just hate all the damm commercials that seems to go with the program

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .

Yeah!! Jack Bauer kicks butt!! It's totally unrealistic but it's great TV

I've been looking forward to this for awhile. Something to makes the weeks go by while I wait for my 'mahal's' interview to get here in March.

Time to save the world again Jack!! Get busy!!

Gonna try again.

I used to be, but fell away over the past couple seasons as the plot of every episdoe seemed to be 'fart around for 50 minutes, blow something up or torture someone or shoot someone in the last ten.' First season is damn good TV though.

I'm debating whether to watch this season. I'll probably catch the premiere and decide from there. Too addicted to Prison Break to have a lot of time for another show.

I liked the first season too - but haven't been to enthralled by subsequent seasons. The torture thing is pretty bothersome, and the show has (at least in the season's I saw) expressed some rather unpleasant politics.

They got better about that in this past season, substituting plot for a string of omg-ticking-time-bomb-omg-amnesty-GLOBAL-is-keeping-us-from-torturing-citizens-i'll-break-his-fingers-and-sayve the-day episodes.

I'm tempted. But it totally loses to Prison Break and House.

  • 3 weeks later...

Whooo someone found the thread for me - can you believe I didn't think to search for Jack Bauer??? A moment of complete stupidity...

I am an addict - since about this time last year when I sat down and watched all 4 seasons in a horribly short amount of time (I wonder why I got a 2.2 in my degree....)

This season hasn't been great so far but I did like Jack strapping his bro to the chair and asking him if he was going to talk or if he was going to have to start hurting him. Then he puts him in a choke hold and his bro says something like, 'You're hurting me'. Jack replies with, 'Trust me, I'm not'. Great line! The plastic bag over his head didn't look like much fun either. ;):P

The plastic bag thing looked like something from a horror movie, or the X-Files... I kept imagining it was his actual face doing that, not the bag - yuk!
