Guns everywhere!

_______

One student was wounded Monday at Paine College in the second shooting in less than 24 hours at the campus in Augusta, Georgia.

Richmond County sheriff's deputy said one "person of interest" was in custody about three hours after the 1 p.m. shooting, the Augusta Chronicle reported. The victim was being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

The college, a dozen nearby public schools and Georgia Regents University were temporarily locked down.

Authorities are still seeking two men who fired shots in a Paine dormitory Sunday afternoon, causing two minor injuries. The school said the gunmen were not students.

Officials would not say whether the shootings were connected.
