Hi, well I went down to my local MVC in NJ today, did my knowledge test & vision test passed. :dance: Then had to go to another window had my photo taken paid the fee, & I walked out with my full NJ licence. With no road test to do, as I hold a full UK licence they waver the road test. :yes:

March 15th Cheque for $725 cashed

March 20th received NOA1 dated March 15th

March 24th received biometrics appointment for 04/05/17

March 28th did early walk in for biometrics 

October 10th received Citizenship Interview letter

November 13th Citizenship Interview at 10 am Mount Laurel NJ passed my interview.

November 13th Oath ceremony 3pm now a citizen

November 14th applied for my passport 

November 25th Received my passport 

November 27th Received my naturalization certificate back

November 28th Updated my social security records

Hi, I'm in NJ too. I've a full UK driving licence but still waiting on Greencard. AOS filed in March 2014.

Did you have to show your Greencard for the NJ licence?

Hi I'm from Nj as well. As you know we have a 6 point system. You can use ur green card ,foreign passport with stamps, social security card.

Did you have to show your Greencard for the NJ licence?

Hi yes you will need your Green Card, SS Card, a first class letter from a gov dept I used my welcome letter from the USCIS, ATM Card, & your UK licence. I took other things a well like my marriage certificate, bank letter. I had more than the 6 point ID but better more than less lol. you will have to do the knowledge & eye sight test, I would suggest that you pop into your local MVC & pick up a copy of the New Jersey Driver Manual it's free, & go through it a few times before you go for the test, when you do go in make sure that they give you the waver for the test, it does say about it in the book & on the web site.
