Fiancee Interview Today

My fiancee will go for her interview in about 7 hours. I am so nervous, I didn't sleep well last night, even though I'm not the one doing the interview.

My fiancee will go for her interview in about 7 hours. I am so nervous, I didn't sleep well last night, even though I'm not the one doing the interview.

I understand the excitement. Yeah, have to look at it the positive way. My then-fiance (and now-husband) also told me of the same thing, and he had been up for 2 online teleconferences the night before and he also had a 7am meeting the same morning of my interview. But he said, he was not nervous for me, it was all excitement! He gave me a good inspiring message before I slept on that night and it did help me feel confident and secured in facing the CO.

I am sure your fiance is a smart lady who will handle this just fine, just like Candy will do in 15 days.

But we will allow you to lose sleep. I am losing sleep already, and it is going to be a long 15 days.

I remember interview day, we were up at 4AM grabbed a taxi to the embassy, were planning to arrive by 5;30 for the 6:30 appt but traffic was light and the taxi got there early so we had extra standing around time. Line started moving a little before 6:30, called to the first window a little past 7AM and we were done at the last window and out the door by 10:30 AM .

Totally functional time was probably 10 minutes, the rest was waiting for our number to be called.

Grabbed a taxi and headed home, had a small party and relaxed for the next month and a half before it was time for the l-o-n-g flight.

She is done with the interviews and got out for lunch. She is waiting for the final step: release and should learn the results I think.
