Hi guys

Need some help here

I got selected for processing for DV2015

AS 3XXX

My number is pretty low but Im having issues trying to estimate the date of my interview

Q1) Is there any reason for the spike in OCT numbers from 10-12?

Q2) Can i assume my interview would be most slightly in Jan-Feb?

Q3) Im trying to get an interview date around March as im still schooling and might have issues flying to US to activate my GC should i get it. What would be a good way to do this? File DS260 in Dec instead of May?

I think pre-2012 numbers were affected by Bangladesh still being eligible in those days so it's hard to look back too far to estimate. Last two years will be your best guide.

Remember you have 6 months to activate your GC, and then another year to make the move. If the timing still worried you, you can try delaying the form submission, but you'll be pretty clueless how long it will take after that as they will first have to process the form, and then fit you in. If you submit in Dec you could conceivably have an interview anywhere between March and May, depending when they get round to making the file and when in the month that is (ie before or after the cut off date for scheduling interviews, which will be for 2 months later).
