Fwiw, when we were in HK last, all the relatives had a pretty much unified hate on for "mainlanders". Lots of stories of them pooping on subways and god forbid eating on subways. They feel like they're being swallowed up by china and in many ways they are.

Lee Kuan Yew and his family have always had disgusting policies. The love boats are hideous to say the least. A friend of mine had to go on one. He was disgusted!
