What are some good travel sites to check flights on? Like Kayak, Orbitz, but for in the UK.

I'm not sure but Expedia and Trivago. I have used both for hotel bookings.. :)

Travelsupermarket.co.uk compares all the airlines to your chosen destination from the UK. I find which one is cheapest then go directly to that airlines website to see if it's a few £££££ cheaper.

Flight Centre will also price match and knock a £ off so they are cheapest too.

(I knew my years in the airline industry would come in handy one day!)

Skyscanner is excellent, especially if you're not set on dates as you can look at a whole month and beyond as a date range for the best prices.

Don't check at the weekend and look for Tuesday departures for a deal.

I take the best deal I can find to Flight Centre and they price match.

I surprised her with a proposal in Los Angeles, and this is how it went down!

Scyscanner is excellent. Expedia is also good. Aer Lingus's own website is also good (if they fly your route, otherwise forget ii mentioned it :))

As another poster has said, try all the different sites. To be honest, whenever I've tried I've usually gotten similar prices but you never know.

When I was doing my travelling I went through STA Travel. You only get the good deals if you're a student/under 26. Not sure if this applies to you, could be helpful for other posters. They price match too.
