So my fiance have been under administrative processing since January of this year. I contacted the immigration office two weeks ago and i got the standard response that they will let me know if they need anything from.

I want to know if it is okay to contact them again today or is this just going to irritate them?

what will you consider to be excess when contacting them

They normally will contact you. When you call again, ask for some timeframes that you can expect to hear back. Then when time comes, you can attempt to call again.

They usually dont answer any qquestion via the telephone. They always refer you to send emails.

Please fill in your timeline so we know where you are in the process.

I will work on the timeline.

His interview was in November ending. He was asked to bring some documents which he did in January.

What was the 221 for ?

Also, the Consulate will not answer specific questions regarding your case. They can only speak in general terms. Yes we have your file, yes it is in AP. Yes you should expect an answer by xxx.

he was asked to bring his police record from our country. He is not a Thai citizen but he is leagl to live and work in Thailand.

They also asked for his house registration.

They also asked for his house registration.

A couple questions.

1. Did he give them the police record from the other country yet? If so, when, and did you confirm that they have it?

2. If he's not a Thai citizen, he's probably not going to have a house registration/ blue book (Tabien Baan) in Thailand. He may have a yellow Tabien Baan, but not a Thai Blue one.

I am also in AP since June 6, the Embassy received the docs asked from 221g on June 18, 2014. I am still waiting. Any good news from the embassy? Did you receive the visa? Please reply. Hope you have the visa already. God bless. This waiting is a torture coz I really miss my husband. I am like dying, cannot do anything at this moment and resigned from my job, I had a very good salary and now it's gone. I am thinking of applying for a new job again while waiting. Hope you reply.

Applicant, your case is ready to be issued, but your passport #********** needs to be cancelled first & returned to our office at your earliest convenience. Please contact visasbkki@state.gov to pick up your old passport to complete this step.)

2014-07- 28 - Cancelled my old passport and sent them to the USEM.

2014-07- 30 - The embassy received my 2 passports (old and new) 2014-07- 31 - Status updated still AP (Maybe scanned my mail)

2014-08- 08 - Status updated "READY"

2014-08- 13 - Status updated still "READY" I sent them an email re the ready status. Aug. 11 & 12 National holiday USEM closed.

2014-08- 14 - Status updated still "READY" I received an email from the USEM,We have received your said documents. Please be informed that your visa has now been approved. We are working with the preparation of your visa package and will mail it to the applicant address on GSS profile which takes approximately 7-10 days. Applicant should refrain from making any irrevocable travel arrangements until he/she receives.<p>

They wanted his birth certificate...Sent it to them, the immigration office said that they did not eceive it..Immigration contacted their office in my country. Nothing happened until the congress lady step in..
