HI everyine,

I station in White Sands Missile Range. My wife is Thai from Thialand.

I got accepted the CR1 case for expedited processing. the mail said :

U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General.

U.S. EMBASSY

95 WIRELESS ROAD

BANGKOK, 10330

THAILAND

I called NVC they said my case had been sent to U.S. EMBASSY on 29th APRIL 2014. NVC said contact U.S. EMBASSY in Thailad next week.

The thing is confuseing me is that I did not do this below:

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary
01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed
01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid
01.15.2014 - IV fee billed; expedite approved
01.18.2014 - sent AOS package
01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)
01.24.2014 - sent IV package
01.27.2014 - submitted DS-260; IV docs delivered to NVC as per DHL (10:52am by PETERS G)
01.29.2014 - CASE COMPLETE (via phonecall)

But they already sent the case to the US embassy in Thailand( Call not call the the US embassy too).

So I do know what to do and what to prepare for the case?

I already got NVC case Number and Invoice ID Number.

Please help if someone have the same case like me.

Thank you in advance.

Interesting I have not received a letter yet but my status at the NVC has changed also to in Transit. So I tracked what I believe is the package from the NVC to Bangkok and it got there today. I am also active Duty in Hawaii and working on a CR1 and got approved to expedite. Sounds like we are both working in the same situation . If you get any more information let me know and I will do the same. From what I understand the will send us Package #3 and we will have to follow those instructions before they set our interview date. When did you file your I-130?

I was expedited at NVC.

I paid AOS and sent package. I waited days to pay the IV fee only to find out my case has already been fowarded to the embassy. I got in touch with the embassy and they told me they'll send me instructions on everything I need to do next. So I'm guessing this is what your embassy will do.

Hi li_09,

So the differant for your case are :

04-15-2014 - DS-261 completed online

04-16-2014 - I-864(AOS) Bill invoiced

04-17-2014 - I-864(AOS) Bill paid

04-24-2014 - I-864(AOS) Package sent

04-28-2014 - Case forwarded to consulate (Expedited)

You did all above the list before the NVC sent your case to the US embassy in New Zealand. But I did not do all that.

The question is when am I going to pay AOS fee, submit AOS(I-864),and complete DS-261online? I guess the NVC probably want my wife to do all those and submit with the packet#3 to the US embassy in Thailand in the same time.

Thank you for your helping.

Hi jeff.spangler57,

How we are going to contact the US embassy in Thailand?( NO call) I guess we need to write them an email then (visasbkk@state.gov
How long do you expect to receive your packet#3?

How did you know your case will be arrive at the US embassy in Thailand?

Is the NVC send out your case to the US embassy in Thailand before you pay AOS fee, submit AOS(I-864),and complete DS-261online?

Where do you think the US embassy in Thailand will send out the packet#3?

Thank you.

Those in military can try three different approaches at the same time or choose one.

Begin the police report asap. Determine what to show them that I D s the case. NOA 1 NOA 2 or something they will take.

Medical can be done or at least one day prior to the interview if you tell embassy she will hand carry the forms.

Download the P 3 forms from their web site. Fill them out and get wet signature docs in the mail.

See IRS web site for tax transcripts. Get last year and maybe one more. Have them faxed to her or connect to 134 form in some manner.

Think of BKK embassy as a house divided into working sections. The actual consulate is located in the high rise across the street. Try contact the duty officer there for info. Give any case info you have.

Email I V section. Slowlyman or Karee will have the best addresses.

Your fiancée can buy a special pin number at any Thai post office that will allow her to make direct calls to the embassy I V section. She should form the questions as general info not exactly about her case. They sometimes say that's asking them to " prescreen " a case.

I use these 2 address to email them

support-thailand@ustraveldocs.com

support@ustraveldocs.com

They usually reply back with 1 day. I followed

www.visajourney.com/.../302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/

I had all my fee's paid and all my online documents submitted to the NVC. Just needed to send them the Civil documents for the DS-260. I assume I will have to bring them to the interview. If I had to guess I would say they should contact you with the next week or two.

Yes I did all that but I wasn't supposed to. Everything was meant to be done at the embassy. I wasn't even aware that my case was going to be expedited.

If they are like New Zealand's embassy they don't charge the AOS fee because that's what they told me, but I told them it was too late I already paid it to NVC. So they told me they'll send further instructions in the mail. I checked my ceac status and it's at "ready for interview" and I've yet to send them a single thing. I'm guessing I'll just have to take all my remaining paperwork to my interview.
