Medical Questions; documents for interview

My fiancée was a little concerned about medical examination. She has heard different stories, some being that they are very intrusive and examiner touch private body parts.

1) She had OVARIAN CYSTS but had them taken care of in Guadalajara Mexico. She also an stomach ulcer (or stomach condition) forgot the name. Will any of these affect the medical portion?

2) I was thinking of having her get a letter from her private doctor indicating that she is know fine from ovarian cysts and the ulcer is manageable. But that is an added expense. Plus I have to have it translated?? The interview is in Mexico.

3)Talking about translation: She will have to take her birth certificate to the interview. Do I have to translate before hand??

4) ALSO, the police certificate that shows she has not committed a crime. Does that come in a sealed evelope?? If, and or not, do I have to translate it?

I don't see why ovarian cysts or an ulcer will be a problem. They're mostly looking for infectious diseases and things that can be passed to other people. Make sure you're prepared for whatever additional medical expenses you may incur relating to any health problems.

Regarding translation, it never hurts to have everything translated and I'd recommend it.

These types of ilnesses are not the type that would cause one to fail an exam. But it is a good idea to bring the records to make it easy for the doctor to conclude that what he sees is indeed nothing to worry about. I am sorry for the expense but I do believe this additional visit to her private doctor will be necessary;.

We are talking here about Spanish language medical documents in a Spanish nation. While I cannot guarantee it, it would seem logical that the doctor can read Spanish language medical documents just fine. So I don;t think translation wil be necessary. Translation is primarily for officlal documents for the embassy's records. These will not be for that purpose but instead for the doctor's individual use.

Is there anything visible regarding these cysts? If they cannot be seen on a visual examination, then the doctor won't even notice that something is wrong.

Normally the doctor does not touch the genitals but just looks. In this case he might touch to further examine these cysts (assuming something is visible). But if he does you can be assured that he will use all proper medical procedure including wearing of sterile gloves. We are talking about a fully qualified and skilled medical doctor here. So she need not worry.

The police and birth certificates will most definitely need to be translated into English. These documents are for official embassy use.
