Hi I'm a US Citizen my parents separated when I was still a young child. They parted ways and got married founded new families. I want to file I130 for both of them but I remember never mentioning my siblings on my father side on none of my immigration documents nowhere so ever but everyone on my mother's side was mentioned siblings of course not step father. Now how do I file I130 for them and them for their kids I know they will want to do so. I wonder how uscis will look at these different aspects of my situation.

You can file for your Parents, you would need to file for your siblings separately.

How many are there?

What about your Parents Spouses?

Why did you not disclose your siblings on your Father's side?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thanks for the answer. Parents are all married to different spouses. My father is married to a different spouse with children and mother same married with children I am the only common link. As far as disclosing my siblings on my dad side just that I don't know them. Just know their names I know their birth dates would be a question that I will have to answer which I don't know and I do not intend ask my father. Our relationship is still like fresh to me. Been with my mom all my life and my father just little under a year. Still trying to process the habit of having a father and also I live here in the U.S and he lives in a far away place pretty much phone calls only which I think is not sufficient to build a relationship.

hi

then it will be hard for your father to come, he has to prove not only that he is your biological father, but also that he has been in your life. did he pay child support? do you have pictures with him? did he call you? if he has returned in your life just a year ago, I don't know if you will be able to petition for him

Well thanks guys at this point I think we (my father and I) will try to keep it to a phone level and periodical visits. I do not want to create a USCIS imbroglio for myself.

I believe a lot of the question they will want answers from I do not have answers for them and seriously I am not ready to fight with uscis feeling little weak here lol!

At what age did your parent's marry their new spouses. IF you were an adult you can NOT file for your step parents. Filing for step(parents) take about a year , fling for stepsibling(s) takes about 13 years. Your parents will not be able to bring children when they come. You need enough income to support all the people you file for. SO 2 parents and 2 step parents means a house hold size of 5 assuming you are single and have no children

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

hi

so you are a family of 3, can your husband be you co sponsor?

if so, how many people could you file with the combined income?

you don't have to file for them at the same time, especially not your stepsiblings, you need to sit down, take a breath, pause and rethink the whole situation. your family comes first, husband and son

Hello everyone! I filed I 130 for my mom. It was approved little less than a week ago and received approval letter already. Now heading to NVC. I have a few questions:

1- If all goes well and mom get a visa to come to the States what type of visa is given to I 130 beneficiaries?

2- will she need to file I485 to adjust status or tha is not needed?

3- What happens after beneficiary of approved I 130 come to the States (immigration wise)?

4- When going to interview for visa, is there anyone who can interview with her as I have read on another site that for a mom interviewing child under 18 and husband also can join and be interviewed even though not included in the I130 application. How true is this?

Thank you everyone.
