Another Visa Status Question

At least they are doing something. But 6 weeks is seriously over the top.

Time to drop the nuke and go Congressional. This is just plain riduculous and flagrantly abusive. These people are not God, and until someone wakes them up, they will go on believing that they can play with people's lives like this.

If they have some legitimate reason to jerk you around like this, your Congress Member has a better shot at finding it than you do.

I am experiencing the same. My interview was done last May 22 and still got no changes in ceac status. They got my passport and haven't received any 221g. The last window told me that I was approved and wait for my passport to be delivered.

But these people have been jerked around for 6 weeks now. You and I and our fiances have been abused, yes I agree, but these people here have been very seriously abused. That was why I advised them to go Congresional and drop the nuke. I won't wait even close to that long before I drop the nuke. Enough is enough with this ridiculous nonsense.

you haven't got your passport yet? When was your interview? And what's the status of your case?

Hi babe2012, saw u two in the interview, may 22... I was approved also but issued with 221g form, pending processing of visa, coz i need to have my baby's crba aplication first... Godbless! Hope ur visa arrives soon:)

May 20, same status as you. Ready , case opened since May 20.

It is not just us. They are doing this to everyone with a K-1. They throw our files in a pile and forget about us.

A 221g will go out right away because there is nothing really to process. I hope you your CRBA in so they can get your file over to our pile soon.

I agree! And I am happy to announce to my VJ family that I will be updating mine with ISSUED!!!!

Thank you all for your positive input and support through this leg of the Journey. I am hopeful that the rest will go a little more quickly, and even if it doesnt, at aleast I will be with my loved one.

You know what is really interesting Hank. Is the minute it said issued.. I could already track at 2go, and within an hour I could already see that it was getting on a specific flight to CDO. That flight should have arrived at 6am Saturday PI time. Now it shows in transit again. I am assuming if 2go was open on sunday it might even be avaliable. So by the current pace i would say AI could end up having visa/passport in hand by monday.

WoW!! The embassy must of been slow updating to ISSUED as it takes another day or two to print the visa and ready it for pickup by 2GO...

That is great news!! After all the waiting it is good to see things moving very fast!

When you get the visa package remove only the passport from the plastic bag the put the DO NOT OPEN envelope in a very safe place until travel day, then have it in your carry-on. Check your visa over for spelling of your name and such.
