Maybe I could get TH to do it. Do you have gas or electric? They cook so differently.

Doesn't really matter. 95% of it is in the prep. For the record, I've been making bread since I was a child - electric, gas, and even an oven that had a special bread compartment....

TBH, I've noticed the only people who really about having electric vs. gas are people that aren't that familiar with cooking. My mother for example, constantly complains about the cheap electric stove we have. The woman doesn't cook and didn't really when we had a Viking stove either. I cook and bake all the time and it works for me.

I wonder if it's cheaper in the long run too.

Depends whether you are buying like artisan bakery bread or not.

Simple answer - make your own bread. So simple and fulfilling.

I find the flour is different. I have yet to find unbleached flour. Sprouts maybe?

I used unbleached flour to make pancakes this morning, supermarket has more of it than bleached!

*Off to take a picture of my flour stash*

I bought bread flour for bread to see the difference....I did not think there was that much...in comparison to all purpose unbleached. I think mine is King Arthur.

I want chocolate mousse....randomly...right now.

I'm watching My Mad Fat Diary. It's great. I am so happy to see a Brit program addressing mental health issues. A+

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

I have a gas stove and can't make cookies to save my life. tbh it's me, not the oven. TH makes bomb baked goods all the time.
