Rant: Standard etiquette should be that women should routinely leave the toilet seat up when they finish their business, pee man.

After a ####### workweek, stopped to fuel the T-B.-mobile. The skies opened with horizontal winds. Was at far end of semi-covered gas bay, but still got nicely (or un-nicely) wet, drip man.

Went then to have mature Mexican haircut shortened, sigh man. At least there are still the 8 pairs of shined shoes plus a lot of bar soap by which to continue experiencing the trip. Hard to believe that it was already 6 weeks ago, sigh man.

Non-Rant: Cat has been like corpulent lap-fungus for 2 days, thus blunting the memory of her predecessor's having been euthanized 2 years ago today, sniff man. However, someone bitingly objects to my trying to type with both hands, ouch man.

Non-Rant: I have not heard Mini-B. cough today, no man, and Mrs. T-B. got what she needed at the store for tomorrow's Mother's Day luncheon, eat man.

Rant: I will not be allowed out of the casa tomorrow before the shindig, no man, which means no GSs, which sucks, sigh man. Several are being held nearby, but I am firmly assigned to distracting Mini-B. during preparations, She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed man.

For a previous Mother's Day or perhaps a birthday, I got Mrs. T-B. a mushy-looking card in Spanish and I stuck a $50 bill in it. She opened the card, stared, and gasped with delight. The card didn't have the English translation on the back, so I wasn't sure of what it said. "What does it say, Cariño [sweetheart]?" I asked. "It says '$50!'" she said delightedly. [to self]

This year, I got her a card with two flaps. I stuck paper clips on each flap, and on the inside of the flaps, I wrote "No no no!" That'll git her, whee man.

Off to watch late news, probably with corpulent feline on stomach, miu man.
