I knew it...is what I said ! Cary will know..you did not disappoint and therefore plus 1ed...oui man.

on another note...what is up with all this yahoo spam mail I keep getting. Nothing helps...200 spam every morning...bam and I have to go thru them all because 1 or 2 are normal emails...grrrr yahoo.

Is it actually from yahoo, or just using a yahoo email address? Big difference, but yahoo itself has slowly been going downhill for a long time. There are some spammers using blind bot nets. They'll attempt to deliver hundreds of emails per day, if the defenses on the mail server you get email from are not up to snuff you'll see them all. At my office, my server sees 4000 email delivery attempts per day, this is for about 25 people. About 200 will actually be accepted and about 10% of them are still spam. If I didn't have defences in place, my users would be overwhelmed with spam, with about 150 per user per day. I could get even more aggressive on rejecting, but then I would start rejecting valid email, and that is not something you want to have happen with a business.

It isn't the only one, but we are having his parent come visit in a week, and for people to walk to the other side of the house and down the stairs to use the basement bathroom is just not going to work. Plus, there is construction stuff everywhere.

I made him put down the ditra tonight for which he is still cursing me, but the walls need the taping sanded and one tiny section needs to be fitted for the medicine cabinet. They need to be primed and painted. Shower wall tile is like 60% done, fixtures need to go on, floor tile is not down (obviously because ditra is being put down now).

His perception of how long things take is like 1/10th the time they actually take. *sigh*

I hate being this nagging wife who is riding him about stuff, but he needs to finish or he needed to take time off from work to do it because my mother is giving us the truck in return for it. To buy the truck at its current market value is more than he'd earn in several months.

Crack the whip on that boy. He's that far away and only a week to get done?! Man he'll be lucky to get it done. Not to mention all the odd ball parts you're going to need to run and get when you start putting all the fixtures in. Bathrooms always seem to take twice the time and twice the money you plan for.

Yeah, I know. Then he tells me I don't paint well enough to prime or paint the room! Well, at least I could do that while he was at work and save a little time. I painted the other bathroom and it looks fine.

Poor guy just left for the urgent care to hopefully get some doxycycline. I took a tick off him two days ago and he's got a rash. With our proximity to Lyme, CT and the fact that everyone I know practically has had Lyme or preventative doxy at some point...

He's got a red raised area about the circumference of toilet paper tube, no bullseye yet, but that doesn't always happen.

Its infected with something then. Might not be lyme, but there's no reason to take chances with that.

Before lymes was really in this part of the country, a co-workers gf was constantly having all these strange problems. Allergic to just about everything, or so they thought. Numerous illness bouts that hospitalized her and almost killed her. This went on for years until they discovered she had lymes disease. I don't think she would have lived much longer if they hadn't figured it out.
