Be careful with how long you hang on. I hung on about 12 years longer than I should have. It only got worse and worse. I was a near a basket case when I got out. I didn't even realize how much stress had built up. It wasn't until I was out of there I realized I was asthma attacks due to the stress of being in that situation. I could literally feel waves of stress leaving my body for months afterwards. The situation really messed with my head, I wasn't myself at all at the end. About a year later I was the friendly joking around guy I was before that whole mess in my life.

LPoP and unread; however, when I finally got fed up with the original Mrs. T-B. (after 2 years) and moved out, I sat in my new apartment, cracked a beer, and said aloud, to no one in particular, "You're free, man!"

You do need to go to the town/city you were born in in New York to get your long form birth certificate.

In Texas, you can get a long-form birth certificate only from the county in which the birth occurred; otherwise, it's a short form. When I got Mini-B.'s certificate, they laminated the bottom half of it, with their seal & certification.

My husband could seriously only get 22 of those, I am betting.

They ask very few of these "standard" questions at the ####### Guayaquil consulate, grrr man.

Left work on Wed. half an hour early to fight traffic home in time for yardwork, si and sigh man. Shaped shrubbery with trimmer; raked clippings onto front lawn; mowed front lawn, mulching all clippings; because of threatening skies, leaf-blew driveway with wonderful B&D blower; mowed back yard; finished all before dark, whee man.

Unusual midweek effort was to avoid forecast rain during next several days, and indeed for the last few hours it's been lightly drizzling, :thumbs: man.

Local weatherman, peripatetic and who talks faster than Speedy Gonzalez on a caffeine high, often mentions "drist and mizzle," Spoonerism man. As for me, for tomorrow's dinner I shall request some parrots and keys, mi san.
