hello! made it safe and sound (although emirates counters in singapore and dubai gave me a hell of a time with my one way ticket...they never heard of a K1 before...). we had a candlelit dinner at home (steaks cooked by j) and he 'officially' proposed to me after. as neither of us like the idea of rings, he got me something else instead. can't share it yet but i love it! we are getting married this friday, may 9th, at the courthouse. happy to report my man also did good by stocking the apartment with lots of chocolate

a bit jetlagged now and can't sleep...caught up on pgs 14-46 of this thread...

oh...on the flight from dubai to seattle, i sat next to a guy who was returning from south africa...visiting his fiance who's about to do her medical and interview for the K1 visa lol. small world.

Yes they're related as fish, but not closely. Not the same geneous, not the same family, not even the same order of fish. They only thing they have in common is they're both fish of the class Actinopterygii, which is ray-finned fish.
