is it normal to have cankles after a long flight? i've flown long haul flights before but never had such terrible fat swollen ankles after! i may have only gotten up to walk twice in a 14 hour flight because guy next to me (with the south african fiance) was sleeping and i didn't want to disturb him. overly paranoid it might be DVT. :(

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Thanks. I wasn't particularly interested in living in NY with him to tell the truth. I would prefer to live in Italy. I always try to believ the best in people. My bad!

Congratulations on your happiness btw!

thank you! and unfortunately the people who aren't worth trusting are the ones who tend to prey on and take advantage of those who believe the best in others. that is good though that you are happy where you are. the only loss would be the money then...and that can be earned again.

Even though I have split up with my USC fiancé is it OK for me to check I from time to time?

Yes, entirely.

hello! made it safe and sound (although emirates counters in singapore and dubai gave me a hell of a time with my one way ticket...they never heard of a K1 before...). we had a candlelit dinner at home (steaks cooked by j) and he 'officially' proposed to me after. (F) as neither of us like the idea of rings, he got me something else instead. can't share it yet but i love it! we are getting married this friday, may 9th, at the courthouse. happy to report my man also did good by stocking the apartment with lots of chocolate

That is great! And getting married right away, wow, that is a lot of stuff in a week.

For the record Kit, I think you should tell your mother immediately before or after you nuptials about said nuptials. Trust me on this one.

Trophie rarely (if ever) makes any sense.

But this time she does :)
