I swore that, if I ever got married to someone with whom I desired to copulate, I would want 0 or >1 children. Only-child status is not something to saddle a descendant with, of course deferring to whatever God gives you.

The wife controls how many babies there will be. The husband might have a say, but the ultimate decision is always her's.

The husband can have 100% say if he cuts her off, si man.

I think they're both rainbow but mine may have been a brown trout.

One of the books that I found at a GS on Saturday was "Many (25) Fish that Children Should Know." It has drawings of Many (12) freshwater and Many (13) saltwater fish.

Mini-B. enjoys acting out the fish with Daddy, such as using our hands to imitate the gar's long mouth, our jabbing finger for the swordfish, and one of Mrs. T-B.'s smaller hair-crunchers (?) for the barracuda and a big one for the shark. Mini-B. repels the barracuda by giving it a high-Many (-five). He captures Daddy's hand with the "shark" and then rescues Daddy, of course earning the "you're a really useful engine!" compliment, wee man. We also sing a song about the tuna-fish.

We are pleased to report that the experience with the Fishie book has rejuvenated Mini-B.'s long-dormant interest in other books: "Daddy? Fishie book? Daddy? Read another book?" We read Many (5) books tonight. Quite a return-on-investment for the initially outrageous price of half a buck for the Fishie book, huh man?

hello! made it safe and sound (although emirates counters in singapore and dubai gave me a hell of a time with my one way ticket...they never heard of a K1 before...). we had a candlelit dinner at home (steaks cooked by j) and he 'officially' proposed to me after. (F) as neither of us like the idea of rings, he got me something else instead. can't share it yet but i love it! we are getting married this friday, may 9th, at the courthouse. happy to report my man also did good by stocking the apartment with lots of chocolate :lol:

a bit jetlagged now and can't sleep...caught up on pgs 14-46 of this thread...

oh...on the flight from dubai to seattle, i sat next to a guy who was returning from south africa...visiting his fiance who's about to do her medical and interview for the K1 visa lol. small world.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Thanks. I wasn't particularly interested in living in NY with him to tell the truth. I would prefer to live in Italy. I always try to believ the best in people. My bad!

oh...on the flight from dubai to seattle, i sat next to a guy who was returning from south africa...visiting his fiance who's about to do her medical and interview for the K1 visa lol. small world.
