My old school EOS Rebel still works and takes good pictures, but annoying it is. I'm not sure I'd want another one.

Which Nikon do you have? I still have my old ones from when I had a dark room. You take way better pictures than me at any rate.

I went ahead and ordered it because the Dane's family is coming and it would be nice to take some pics.

I have a Nikon D40x. It's really a beginner camera and I need an upgrade (more than 3 focal points would be killer... manual focus with glasses SUCKS and contacts cost about the same as a damn camera sometimes. LOL)

Next on my list though is a sling and a CP filter. Those two will cost as much as my new tripod. Which is uber! Looks like this only is blue:

Thanks to him I overstayed the VWP by a couple of months, which means I can't enter the states without a B2visa. The guy has some of my stuff, and hasn't repaid in full the money I lent him. He won't send on my things and knows I can't pop over to pick them up myself.

Awww. You totally made me find the old Nikons and all the lenses and fun stuff. Now, I've gone and put the light meter somewhere....

I told my husband I bought a new camera and he was all like why didn't you spend more and get one of the big ones. I was trying to explain to him that I like the old film black and white better, that it just has something to it that digital doesn't, but maybe I'm just revealing my inner hipster or something.

Edit: I am aware that I bought a digital camera.

I also like artisan things and beards and men who look like lumberjacks.
