I don't but would very much so if things were different...it would not have been an easy choice despite me making it sound this way. I always wanted to have/adopt kids but be able to provide them with the minimum of things and have a man next to me that can teach them about life and lead them in the right direction...as such...that would be impossible and extremely selfish of me to have a child just because I want to have one. So dogs it is.

And I honestly hope that yours is coming soon and sending you all my positive thoughts !! :) It will work !!!

I sometimes have a hard time believing you're not the one living in the deep south.

No apologies needed, I know you don't want kids. My comment was actually not related to yours despite the poor timing, it is just right now, an all consuming thing in my brain. Every day - taking temperature, charting, carefully noting things, yah know... it never really pops out of my brain.

Only thing that really make me angry/upset is when I look at really crappy parents, like child abuse crappy, and think why them and not me. I do get a little jealous of people who have more than one, but that is common.

I so want to go out, have all day, but have to wait for this stupid dishwasher to be delivered. :ranting:

I would really love another baby, I have a little girl who is nearly 4-years-old. Hubby doesn't want any more (he has two from previous marriage).

Sometimes I have to stop reading friends' FB posts because everyone who had a baby the same time as me last time is just having their 2nd now. I feel so jealous. And then I feel guilty because I should be grateful for the wonderful little girl I do have. I know I am luckier than some.

It's a real nagging pain some days though.

I hope it's a regret that I can learn to accept and deal with, and that it doesn't make me bitter towards him in later years.

LOL its the family you live with. Some how I just envision them living in the back hill country or deep in a southern swamp,

The wife controls how many babies there will be. The husband might have a say, but the ultimate decision is always her's.

I totally get what you are feeling...facebook is sort of like my nightmare sometimes. People are seriously pregnant with a second child in the time that we've just been trying for one.

I'm thinking of getting this: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-DSC-RX100-Sensor-Digital-Camera/dp/B00889ST2G/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1399408468&sr=1-1&keywords=rx100

I have a first generation Canon Rebel, but it is really heavy, sucks at battery life and uses cards that most computers don't take anymore. So, I've almost entirely been using my cell phone, which isn't that great. As a result, not enough pictures taken lately.

The Sony RX100 is very good camera.

My co-worker recommended this Sony one and Canon Powershot G15 (newer version G16, only $50 different).

No way man....

I can name a dozen fish better than the wallet-eye

1-Atlantic Cod

2- Tautog (Blackfish)

3- Striped bass (atlantic)

4- Atlantic Salmon

5- Blue Fin

6-Yellow fin

7- Mahi mahi

8- Tile fish

9- Haddock

10- Atlantic fluke

11- Though illegal- Atlantic Sturgeon

12- Weakfish (Sea Trout)

How about listing some INLAND fish??

OH for comparison's sake, Hubs and I caught trout on the weekend SEE:

th_DSC_1991.jpg

His is the nice looking one in front. Good colour. I think they're both rainbow but mine may have been a brown trout. He was much smaller.

Can't really sleep either. My mother had been sick, coughing and wheezing, not breathing well, all that jazz. But last night she told me she had been coughing up blood and her CT scan showed the top of her lung was collapsed around a tumor/nodule/lump thing. The doctor has ordered a PET scan and a biopsy, so I am expecting her to contact me sometime today to let me know when all this happens so I can take her to the hospital.

I am trying not to worry too much or panic about it being anything other that some benign nodule from an infection, but it is difficult. She is in her 70's and smoked many years of her life. Meh, just have to wait for the biopsy results. I guess if I am impatient about it all, then she must be a bit frantic; though when I spoke to her last night, she seemed to be trying to put up a strong front.

I'm sorry! ***hugs!!***

I have cut him off this evening.. On the market again. Ho hum

Hrm.... That sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. Stand up fer yourself!

Your lovely BFF Steve would gladly sponsor the NYC free vacation trip :)

Jada,

I like this hair style from your link. But not sure if I will look good with it.

544816_10151400191981623_733193355_n_zps

I LOVE THAT HAIR!!! I would totally rock that.

Back from the doctor's....she would not do any tests because it costs money and I got no insurance so she gave me pills for infection (she said she won't test for it she can tell) and told me to expect it to take 2 weeks to feel better ..

told me to take pregnancy test (she would not do it in the office since it costs so I just bought one) and said my issues are stress related and it has not yet been a year since I got here so until then...wait and hopefully I will get insurance by then...

in other news: my interview has been confirmed.

YAY for interview confirmed and yay for negative pregnancy test.

can you drop 125 for a used fuitsu 10 megapixel thingie? a little smaller than a big SLR, I use mine daily and it takes great pics in my hand. mount it on a tripod and i gots studio quality each time.

Sony makes superior gear, though...

You can get new canon rebel ti for pretty good prices.

Sony does make some nice cameras as well, you tend to get some bang for your buck with them.

I love my Nikon though and will upgrade to another next time.

My old school EOS Rebel still works and takes good pictures, but annoying it is. I'm not sure I'd want another one.

Which Nikon do you have? I still have my old ones from when I had a dark room. You take way better pictures than me at any rate.

I went ahead and ordered it because the Dane's family is coming and it would be nice to take some pics.
