i think I am going to make feta/vodka tart and apple carrot salad for the two tonight.

for the two 'whats' ?

but I digress.

Look you, get up super early tomorrow morning,

go outside with the FIL,

have him drop you off at one of the nearby Chambers o Commerce,

and whilst yer there:

1. talk with the secretary and

2. volunteer for every event in the calendar for the next 30 days and

3. study addresses on google maps so you can coordinate your free-rides to the venues.

That's yer assignment, for Tuesday.

[note to T-Bone: This is the first post on page 195, your post count and page count are off, again, because of all of the deletions/hidings done in this topic]

FIL gettin ready to elope with DIL :)

because MIL is so fat, her blood type is "Ragu +" :content:

EOM...

This actually happened with a Filipina down in Florida a number of years ago. Filipina comes on K-1, marries the petitioner, who was a soldier. They live with her FIL. Husband gets deployed, to Afghanistan, Filipina is shortly later stuping the FIL and pregnant. Wanted to know if it would mess up her green card to divorce the husband and marry her FIL.

these are normal things, j, only you had to delay cause of the locale and whatnots. and the who_nots...

[who not have brains, who not have connections in town for higher paying jobs, who not understand healthy eating, who not understand they raised a feckless human, ad. naseum.]

So, dig in, get some work done, make some monies.

In the mean time, get some business cards / name cards today, or at least order them today, with your name, phone number, an email address, and a longish sentance for a marketing tagline - something that distills down to 'I need a big job, hire me now' ... You will need these at the volunteering events.

j - ask your FIL for a set of disposable mechanic's gloves, and wear them around the house so you can stop damaging yer hands and fingers. sure, it's only a modicum of safety, but it makes the world of difference.

I don't do ANYTHING outside unless I'm wearing gloves - so I have gloves for gardening, welding, construction, etc... all different. If I could not write, could not use a keyboard, I've only myself to blame for being careless. Get some @#$@ing gloves, woman !

BoatMan - I say we try giving him a curry enema, about 8 liters.

Sure, it's a waste of curry, but the side-effects are meaningful.
