That's how it looked in December last year...

Had to cut some parts off and put them into water, to grow root.

got the sewing room all set up. can't wait to start sewing again!

we found a sewing machine at a crazy price on sale from a dealer, and a used serger that was refurbished back to factory conditions:

also, a cutting table! :D we managed to grab the last of the expedits at 20% off and ikea-hacked them with a gallant table top:

They have the Nescafé ones (all of them) right next door to where Tiff works. If you can't find it, I'll send some...

the planters look great!

i don't have a sewing business..i just stopped buying clothes a couple years ago. a very small part of it is ethical, i don't want my clothes made in some sweatshop somewhere (although i know that it's likely my machines were made in similar conditions, and the fabric, etc, so, yeah). the other part is fit and quality...i'm short, so nothing off the racks is going to fit me well without alterations. i might as well make something that's custom fitted to my body, it's almost as much work as altering something store-bought anyway.
