I got her a Saturn Vue, actually.

She likes it ;)

But it seemed the best mix on cost of ownership vs insurance for a first year driver. We'll get something newer after her first year of driving is over, and I'm not that worried with her driving it around town....

I offer up a highly inspirational music video to you, in hopes of lifting yer spirits and pushing you a step in the right direction...

Mini-B. has a modern one (plastic), from a very local GS. The original price was $Many ($30), but Mrs. T-B. charmed the guy down to $Many ($20) before ordering me to go pay, $igh man. But Mini-B. loves it, wee man, and in fact Mrs. T-B. pulled him in it to the park this eve.

They got back exactly as I finished with the mow-lawning. This job was perhaps the easiest ever, because of very low humidity and a slight breeze, whee man. Amazingly, Mrs. T-B. had cleaned all the Legos out of the back yard beforehand, gee man. She also cooked me a nice dinner. Something's up... maybe she's ovulating.

Mini-B. loved the game that I got him at the morning GS. He finally ate something, so perhaps he's recovering at last from this Many- (9-)day illness, goodgrief man.

Here's the little guy on our way to the pediatricians he doesn't like the car seat.

He's now 12 pounds 9.5 ounces

And this is all too rare these days, so it's a little crumb of happiness. By the way, I remember poignantly being told the exact same thing as you were, countless times. Now, I'm gainfully employed so that Mrs. T-B. can spend it all, whee man.

OMG lack of sleep has messed me up bug time. I'm a week behind, and just realized my older daughters birthday is monday :bonk:

I need to go shopping and get stuff for a coconut cream pie and a coconut cake. Then I need to get out of her what she wants for supper and a present. :blink:

Ok, now I am depressed, my iPhone is not working properly. I dropped the phone yesterday and today I found that the caller could not hear me but work fine on speaker mode :(

Of note, I have not seen one driver of that extraction (more Vietnamese than Chinese where I am, although Many of each) who drives anything other than a Honda, Toyota, Nissan, or Lexus, no man.
