I drank that civet cat ####### coffee from Vietnam remember? That was literally good shlt

I usually don't like the term literally, as its rarely true when used, but in this case....

I'm moving to the Philippines and starting a civet coffee farm. Then I'll make a shlt load of money.

The nutria, Myocastor coypus, is a large semi-aquatic rodent.

Really???

nutria is good eating. prevalent in The South [where I live].

Nasty critters to catch, though - figure a rodent about 20 times the size of a rat.

If'n you want to hunt them, get to New Orleans 2 weeks prior to jazzfest or mardi-gras - the CITY issues special hunting permits during that time, to get rid of them... [it's fun, i swear]

nutria likes the waterways, never heard of them up north. if'n you got some, they won't last the winter season, iirc.

[end o huntin talk]

yes really....my dad had a nutria farm..for meat and the fur...we made coats out of it.

it is like a rabbit just doesn't smell like a rabbit which is a good thing.

they are not terribly cuddly though....I do have pics holding baby nutria, big ones bite a lot.

nutria coats used to be the rage in the South. I dunno why not, any more - maybe that stupid hurricane that wiped out New Orleans?

My wife has a nutria coat, made in China. not for export - well made, omg it's nice.
