Thank you

Is somebody getting an AARP card?!

They've been trying to get me to sign up since I was 45. Ain't got one though. I'm not sure what the point is.

You got your wedding dress from there?

Yeah I did and they sucked then, too. Had to get this bridesmaid dress through them and they said they would call when it came in. So I'm waiting and waiting and waiting...finally check my spam email and it's buried under 17 other ones. Great.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Called, emailed, what's the difference.

I would prefer the shop call me, or leave me a voicemail to pick up the dress, instead of email only.

Yes, this.

My spam is full of just that...spam. I hardly ever look there.

yep me to, my comment needed the sarcasm font.

Email never assures delivery or timeliness, and even if delivered, there's no assurance it didn't get caught by spam filters. The entire protocol for sending email is antiquated. One of my pet peeves as an email administrator, are businesses that use it for critical billing and PO issuance with blind automated email systems that don't even monitor when the message wasn't accepted.

need to find an efficient way to prepare j's lunches...sometimes dinner leftovers aren't good for lunch (like if i cook something that is meant to be eaten right away and goes soft or dries up after a few hours). anyone got some quick and easy lunch recipes to recommend?

It was all complete in one very long day. 5+ hours there, 15 minute grab a burger lunch, meet with client, 5+ hours back. The landscape on the drive was actually rather pleasant. Was very windy out on them south dakota plains, gusting in the 40's MPH. With the temp only reaching about 49 degrees out there, it was a bit chilly outside with that wind. We drove through pothole country. Not road potholes, but water potholes chuck full of tons of waterfowl.

Sort of depends on what he likes and if he has a refrigerator and/or microwave available.

i sent him off with a sandwich today and felt kind of bad, like it took almost no effort to slap a few pieces of bread together and throw some meat and veg in between.

he does have a microwave...and there is a cooler where he could store food.
