Nothing wrong with fighting over it. The issue is when you can't come to an agreement after said fight. For this fight to work out, both have to be willing to give up something, but hopefully neither have to. (Prepare for compromise but settle with collaboration.) Hiding your feelings doesn't help, you just get angrier and angrier until you pop.

Hubs and I argue and sometimes we're grumpy, (those we get over quickly) sometimes he's wrong, sometimes I'm wrong, sometimes neither of us are. Majority of the time we agree on a point and end the argument, normally with some concessions on both sides and hugs. Occasionally we just sleep on it and decide individually that it wasn't worth the argument.

I agree with Tbone, knowing what we know of tiff... Likely this has to be either a grin and bear it or leave as soon as gump and company arrives.

Today is me and hub's 3 year anniversary. :) We went to a 5 de Mayo festival in the city to celebrate. Had a nice time. :) Back to reality now, though.

Good news: this will be the last week of school before summer break! Yessss! :D

Happy anniversary

You've been married Many years and went to a Mucho de Mayo celebration? Si, man!

Mrs. T-B. is calling, so I shall wander downstairs for breakfast.

I'm gonna turn into the hulk and fling them out the second floor window.....

do it minus the out the window part, but time to go nuts man

For him breaking her little lantern....that I just got her yesterday....

Tiff trying to gorilla glue it now.....I'm not lifting a finger or saying one word.....

bah messed up quote box....

anyways if she is using gorilla glue she might melt the lantern that stuff is potent

Because Mommy needs a break from Mini-B. or will go psycho.

are you saying if i go psycho i get a break?? Dang it I've been doing it all wrong!

Doxycycline makes me feel like there are knives in all of my joints. :crying:

so sorry, my joint hurts for you

Tiff is once again, all pissed off that I don't like the fing Gump kid.

####### am I supposed to treat him like my son?

Am I going to get a fing divorce because of her NEPHEW??

Is she That fing stupid??

ask her if you treat him like a son if that gives you the right to straighten him out.

Nah, not really, but it is only a couple of days versus a couple of months like last time I took it for Lyme. That was awful.

My HSG is tomorrow so it is being used as a preventative.

Good luck tomorrow, hopefully it won't be too bad for you.

either way you look at it...cutting out Gump is going to make Tiff angry so they will fight about it. Is what I am thinking anyways...unless Tiff decides that Gump's are in the wrong here...

it's not right or wrong. She's gotta place her own family IFO the gumps now. That gump kid is NOT her son. Stop treating him like he is!

My daughter hates my SIL. She only ever knows how to tease and antagonize my kid. She's an ahole. I already told her to stop it. She can't help it. she's an envious, jealous bltch.

Gorilla glue fixed the lantern, but not the tiara.

And I don't want to straighten this kid out. I'm not his father. He's not my son. It's fruitless. There's no purpose in it.

in my mind the wrong part is exactly the above....them being the way they are and Tiff not understanding that. So if she did recognize at least partially that they might be doing something that hurts her own family and she lets it happen maybe things would get better.

A very long time ago, I would have picked up SIL + kid by the collars & belts and physically thrown them out of the house, then looked at Wifey with a look of "Say one thing now or ever again, and you're next."

Bluntly stated, I wonder what kind of man would put up with this horsesh*t for this long. It's like a very bad Psycho movie that never ends.

at any rate. I was having a fine Sunday evening until they showed up. And Tiff asks why my mood changed. And I told her why.

And Tiff wasn't supportive of my right to peace in my own home.

If SIL wants my daughter to play with her kid so bad, then invite her over. Don't impose on me. (And my child wouldn't go anyway)
