DV2015 statistics....

I think that DV-2015 will be so different, why:

• selected will not have to send the forms via mail, everything will be online , we might have more people sending the forms since it will be free, so less second holes lolololol .... --> not good for the high CNs
• technical problem occurred on the ESC website, some people might be selected but they saw that they are not and will not recheck again --> good for the high CNs
• Nigeria is an illegible country, the other countries will have more selected, so we might have one or two additional special counties ...

conclusion: it was easy to compare between 2014 and the previews year to predict the VB/CN progression, for 2015 it will be different since we have a lot of variables.... (online forms+ web issue + Nigeria)

Firstly, congratulations on the double selection!!! You must be happy with a low number for next year!!

I think your points are valid, although I would also point out the other costs of the process - mainly DV and USCIS fees and medical fees - are much higher than cost of courier to KCC so those who would drop out for cost reasons would do so anyway. However as there is no cost in this leg what I think it might mean is more people are scheduled for interviews that they do not end up arriving at ...so more no-shows for "ready". Could indeed cause a bit of a slowdown of numbers at first until KCC figure out the new pattern??

I wonder what the percent of wrong notifications of non-selection were, certainly not everyone. So probably not as bad as 2012. I know there were people in 2012 who were selected in the later draw who got emails telling them to check their pages at some stage (some months after the draw) so there is a possibility they do something like this. I am actually pretty sure I remember a general email informing applicants that the original draw had been invalidated and to check again. So not sure (1) how many successful applicants don't realise it and (2) if KCC will not try ensure everyone checks again.

I think SQQQ is right. There will be many more "ready" cases next year but then again they might be using Slonerware 2.0 and there will be more holes

Jokes aside,DV2015 EU47k and AF 99k has slightly brought back my faith in KCC. It is an indication that DV2014 was not based purely on DV2012 which is good news. I hope there was a valid reason for informing as many selectees as they have in 2014. Also the fact that the selectee letter mentions 55k visas is a proof that DV2014 will get a chunk of whatever is left from NACARA. Altogether good news I think.

A question off topic. Currently I do not have acces to the CEAC spreadsheet. My mate claims that Ukraine and Uzbekistan are close to hitting the country limit soon. I do not think that's correct. Do you have the data available maybe?

That's not true. Ukraine and Uzbekistan is far from the limit of 7 percent. There is highly developed fraud.

This was in last year. When checking a guy from Russia its application. He had a girl with Australia with CN20xx So I learned that there is a high case Oceania in 2015.
