AOS for friend wife and stepchildren

Hello,

My friend is petitioning/adjusting status for his wife and her 2 children who are all here in the U.S. I understand that he only files an I 130 for all of them, is this also true for the I 485? Does he send payment for 1 person or for 3? Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

IS your friend a USC ? No matter it is 3 payments Non USC can't file for AOS usually

He is a citizen and they all entered with visitors visa

Separate I-130 and I-485 for each of them.

Preconceived intent to immigrate when they entered the US on tourist visas by itself is not a valid reason to deny the AOS as long as they did not lie when entering the US.

Depending on their age, the children's I-485s might be available at a discount, but you will need separate I-130/I-485s for each, as stated above.

When your friend married his wife, he can immediately fill for his wife and her children.
