Hi All,

My number is EU 30XXX. When is the latest I should apply?

I plan to visit the US sometime this fall and don't want to have issues entering the US for a visit.

I was born in Kazakhstan and I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada.

Hi, I'm from South America and I have a low case number (SA2xx). I've read the october visa bulletins for the last couple of years, and they usually call numbers 0 to 400 at least (sometimes up to 500), so I think it is safe to assume that I will be called as soon as the interviews begin. Do anyone know when I should be called? I think the notification letter comes with a month in advance, do you think my interview will fall on november? what is the earliest day I should expect to be called for an interview?

Yes, you're likely to become current in October which means you will likely get interview notification letter in August - notification is usually 6 - 8 weeks in advance. The September visa bulletin will come out in August and this should contain information about CNs that will become current in October as related to DV 2015 cases. ONce the VB comes out, those shown as being current in October will begin to recieve notification letters from KCC about 1 or 2 weeks after that.

Hi, so that means I could get the notification letter before october 1st. I thought I had to wait until october to get the notification and then I would have to wait 6-8 weeks for the interview (landing on november 1st to 15th).

Hi all, so useful to have this forum! I have two questions, if you could please help me: my fiance has got a DV2015of around 38,000, is it too high ofr italy?

and, second question: as far as you know, does the time of filing all the required papers affect your opportunity to get your appontiment? it's odd, but he had to ask to correct his passport as his name was written wrong (!!) and this is taking a bit of time...we're really worried but he didn't want to submit the submission with a wrong documentation! if you could help us in claryfing something it would be great! thanks!

DV15EU38,000 is ok. It got interviews this year so would likely get interviewed next year.

38,000 is high so you have 6 months to fix everything. Interview in August.

I would get married before filing my DS-260 if I were you.

You need to give one more number. There is a massive difference between 10xxx and 19xxx.

I actually have a similar concern, though in theory you just need to apply in time to be called for an interview. I'm planning to submit the application as soon as I get my OPT card, which will be some time in September, but my interview is next May/June so I can file any time before say, February. Since our numbers are very similar, I say you're in the same boat.
