Does anyone know how long it takes for the hard copy of the RFE to be mailed to the petitioner. We received an email on Friday, 13 June letting us know they required more information and to wait for the letter. As yet, we have not received the letter.....fingers tapping...any information would be most appreciated.

Based from experience, after 5 business days we received the RFE hard copy. Your fiance might get it

today in the mailbox.

Checked my email this morning to find something had arrived from USCIS in the night - NOA2!!!

That was 21 days for me. I feel so lucky.

I'm really not understanding the timeline of all this.

I got my NOA 1 on 5-8-14 it's at TSC

On my timeline it showed July - Aug adjudication now it's showing Sept-Oct .. Is this to do with all that's going on in Texas ? I'm happy for y'all at CSC !! But what's the problem here in Texas

Congratulations , in 12 days time you will receive packet 3 . And then medical and interview appointment.

tomorrow is my medical exams plus i will be getting interview date probably the end of june. Quite a big day for me as well.

The Embassy called me yesterday (19 June) to ask my email adress, for the instructions (didn't use postal service anymore). Today I had my medical exam, everything went smoothly, Monday I'll call to schedule my interview, to be honest, I want to fly on 2nd July, wanna celebrate 4th of July (Independence Day) with my fiance ♥

OMG. I am so excited. got a txt message yesterday at 10 pm when i was least expecting saying to check the status of my application. scared me, because i thought they would say Approved if everything is ok in the txt. but then checked e-mail and it said Approved and checked the WebSite - APPROVED!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!

whaaat the heck?? so Im freaking out now..we were super scared of filling the paperwork and have some mistake so we paid a lady that have been working in a law office that does this kinda of work..anyways I trusted her bevause shes from my country ( Brazil) but I feel like starting to regret it.. First of all.. she sent everything on may 9 and tilll now ( june 22) there is NO NOA1 nothinf at all!! my fiance is from Santa Ana California and why the f#%%_!ng hell she sent to Texas center??? Im super mad and sad right now... what can we do?? feel so stupid and sad

Relax. Your petition was not sent to the TSC. It was sent to the Texas lock box like every other petition. It will be routed to the appropriate center from there and in your case a 99.9% chance it will be CSC.

People get confused about Texas Lockbox (where all the petitions are sent), and Texas Center or California Center. What`s weird is the fact that the petition was sent on 9 May and they still don`t have NOA1.

I got my interview scheduled on Wednesday, 25 June I`m not scared, I got everything in order, just waiting to be asked about my fiance, I can talk for hours To be honest, I`m more scared about the long flight rather than the interview. I really hope everything goes smooth

wow.. interview a month later after starting the process? Never heard about it! I was expectinf my interview for november.. every case I googled from brazil takes at least 5 months.. and man I just miss my fiance so bad..anyways today we are gonna call uscis and see whats wrong

GabriellaNanthony, I saw cases here when people would say they didn't get their hard copy. so maybe letter just got lost in the mail or soemthing. Do you know if G-1145 was filled out to get e-mail or txt message notification?

Don't freak out, you process should take much faster than 5 month. don't google, use this forum and website;)

Alics, that's awesome! did you have to get Police report? do you need Package 3 first to request that police report? or what dpocumentation is needed to request it? trying to be ahead of the game and seeing what my fiancee can do before she gets Package 3. Any suggestions?

Its strange because our NOA1 date from TSC was 5/7/2014, and our NOA2 date which was also from TSC (hard copy says so) was 6/16/2014. I had another notification on 6/19/2014 notifying us that it was being sent to NVC. Things are moving fast for us so not sure why some of the other TSC filers have taken so long. We feel blessed for sure.........hope things start looking up for you TSC guys/gals....
