if the OPs woman is considered a hooker by the USCIS because she's given blowjobs and handjobs for money

Even if you are annoyed by the thread, this is a very degrading way of expressing it. The OP came seeking help, he didnt come to be humiliated and for someone to throw the word hooker towards his fiancee.

Hooker is worse than Prostitute.

What is the PC correct term, just interested.

Sex Industry Operative?

Trying to think of an analogy, Bin Men where I come from is Trash Men here aka Waste Disposal Operatives.

Dunno.

Dictionary.com says prostitution is:

sex work –noun prostitution. —Related forms sex worker. Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)

'sex worker' would probably be the nice way to say it, but honestly, it's not going to matter to USCIS. ('Really, she was a sex worker, not a prostitute.') Attorney, attorney, attorney.

pros·ti·tute Pronunciation (prst-tt, -tyt)

n.

1. One who solicits and accepts payment for sex acts.

2. One who sells one's abilities, talent, or name for an unworthy purpose.

tr.v. pros·ti·tut·ed, pros·ti·tut·ing, pros·ti·tutes

1. To offer (oneself or another) for sexual hire.

2. To sell (oneself or one's talent, for example) for an unworthy purpose.

Seems to cover it.

Or I have completely misjudged the services provided by this business.

You all can keep right on debating semantics all you want... I told you in my OP that I had a thick skin. I don't give a rat’s ### what you think about her or me or what she’s done to support her parents. You don't know ###### about me or the woman I love and you clearly don't have any understanding of life in Thailand.

I spoke with a lawyer (thanks Yodrak) last night and it's very clear to me that we'll be completely honest on the G-325A. She'll be totally honest in the interview if it's questioned. If denied we'll file a waver. The lawyer made it very clear that the council in Bangkok are not stupid (in fact some have bar girl "girlfriends") and that most wavers are granted.

I thank many of you for your advice and support and I'd like to tell of few of you to F off. There are polite ways to get your point across without using terms like hooker, #######, #######, skank, slag, slattern etc...

Just remember a few things:

The attorney cannot advise you to lie.

The attorney will, of course, give you a glimmer of hope. It's in his best financial interests.

The attorney will collect his fee whether or not the visa is granted. Plus add'l fees for the waiver process.

The council ( I assume you mean consulate employees) in Bangkok may, in fact, have "bargirl" girlfriends. However, the council is required to uphold U.S. law.

Best of Luck to you

Thanks... I do realize that. He (Bill White) didn't push his "service" in the least and really sounded to me like a straight shooter. His suggestion about the consulate employees was not intended to make me think that they would be sympathetic but to tell me that they were not naive.
