Hello everyone,

Just like to ask you guys about the letter of Meeting in Person...

Is it necessary or required that both of us have to sign the letter

or just the signature of the petitioner?

Hope you can give ideas...Thank you!

My husband and I did not have the letter of meeting in person for I-129F. But we did submit letter intent of marry which is both of us had signed it.

Oh..Im so sorry my question is regarding I-129F item 34.a (describe the circumstances under which you met). so my fiance will make a supplement letter

for that but asking about the signature. Is he only the one need to sign it or both of us needed to?

No, the supplement letter attached to I-129F doesn't need a signature because the I-129F itself already has a box where the petitioner has to sign it.

There is no letter of meeting in person. Both parties must sign a Letter of Intent to Marry. Read the Guides.

If the USC petitioner chooses to add a supplement letter/sheet for the questions about meeting in person, then only they would need to sign and date it, like any other supplement/attachment page. It is not a requirement to have a supplement sheet for that question, nor to have both sign it. You each need to sign your own separate letters of intent.
